The Banking / Mortgage Industry has certainly undergone some changes recently, including the new RESPA laws that have changed the Good Faith Estimate.  But overall, Lending guidelines are more strict but money is available if you qualify.  Several facts still remain and hold true; especially this one:  For most Americans, buying a home is the single best investment you might ever make.  So with an increased supply, historically low rates and tax incentives to boot; now may be the best time to make your dream of home ownership a reality!

           Got USDA loan funds???  

The USDA originally thought they'd be out of money to fund their Rural Development program by April 30, 2010 but they recently announced they'd have money through May 10th!!  Has your Realtor or banker told you differently?  Probably if their institution was too big to succeed!!
